About Us

Gate & Bar was launched in 2020 and is York's fastest growing Surveying company.

We provide Surveying, Design and Project Management services throughout Yorkshire and are proudly local giving Gate & Bar its name. We are based at Forest Farm Business Park, Fulford just outside York on the A19 (south).

Our team work with a tight network of clients who rely upon our services to support their property and construction goals.

We have big ambitions with an environmental and community underpinning. We predominantly work with Education, Ecclesiastical and Community interest organisations and clients.

Our ethos is to lead with Empathy and Expertise with both holding equal importance. We proudly operate locally, not nationally, allow us to become local experts and focus our time on our clients.

Personal and Corporate memberships to professional organisations including the Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Association of Project Management (APM) and the Association of Project Safety (APS) ensures Gate & Bar are providing the highest possible standards with up to date best practice guidance and support to continuously develop and inform our approach.
